ACYF Closing Mass - Saturday, December 9th


Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP has issued a statement that no vigil masses will be celebrated in the Archdiocese of Sydney on Saturday the 9th of December in the hopes that the Catholic faithful will join young pilgrims in the Domain for the Final Mass of Festival.The Mass will be Australia’s biggest Mass since World Youth Day and we will come together to give thanks for the success of the Australian Catholic Youth Festival and to launch the Year of Youth in Australia

Celebrations will start on Saturday 9th of December from 4:30 pm with a concert featuring festival artists followed by Mass at 6.30pm and concluding at 8.30pm. 

How do I Get to the Closing Mass at The Domain?
The Domain is adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens, between Art Gallery Road and Hospital Road, Sydney. Remember to plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time to get to the Final Mass. 
The best way to get to the Domain is by public transport.

Please note: no alcohol is allowed at this event.
