Getting around the Festival - Here is what you can expect to find and where...

Plenary - Qudos Bank Arena

On Thursday and Friday morning from 9.30am and each evening from 6.30pm, there will be a Plenary session. There will be a 75 minute Pre-Plenary program (commencing at 8:15am and 5:15pm) to entertain you as you arrive. There are 84 access doors to QBA so check with your group leader or your registration information to ensure that you enter through the door allocated to you. Your entry door will be different for each Plenary.

Worship Centre - Hall 5 (SSG)
Inside the Worship Centre, there are a variety of spaces for Mass, Prayer and Reconciliation. The large chapel seats 1800, there is a smaller Chapel for Adoration and separate areas for Reconciliation and Prayer. Additional Reconciliation sites are located outside Hall 5.
Thursday and Friday: 11:00am - 5:30pm Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
Permanent Features of the Worship Centre include: Main Chapel, Reconciliation, Blessed Sacrament and the Labyrinth

Expo - Encounter Dome (SSG)
With almost 100 exhibitors, spend some time wandering around the Expo to discover the wonderful work these groups are doing around the country and beyond.
Thursday and Friday: 11:00am - 5:30pm Saturday: 9:30am - 1:00pm

Panel Discussions - Hall 3 (SSG) and QBA
Nine different panel discussions will take place in Hall 3 and in the Ballroom at QBA. Check out the Official ACYF 2017 App for details of the Panel presenters.

Experiential Workshops - Hall 6 (SSG)
These hour-long workshops are designed to engage Festival-goers with presenters, performers, dance and music bringing the topics such as The First Australians, LAUDATO SI and Homelessness to life.

Workshops and Talks - Lounge Bar and Club Rooms (QBA), Hall 2, ACU Entertainment Zone and Howie Complex (SSG)
Individual Presenters speak on a huge range of topics to audiences large and small. Check out the Event App for details of topics and Presenters to help you choose the sessions you’d like to be part of.

Justice Activity Centre - Encounter Dome (SSG)
Visit the Justice Activity Centre to see some of Australia’s leading mission and outreach organisations and learn more about the work they do and the contribution you could make. Lots of fun activities and workshops.
Thursday and Friday: 11:00am - 5:30pm Saturday: 9:30am - 1:00pm
Permanent Features of the Justice Activity Centre includes:  Global Village Interactive Experience (Caritas), Catholic Mission Hub, Vinnies Shop (Society of St Vincent de Paul)

Music - Hall 4, Encounter Dome Stage, Outdoor Stage (Entry) and ACU Entertainment Zone (SSG)
Hear top local and international artists perform a huge range of live music, from singer-songwriters to worship leaders and everything in between. This music line-up is not to be missed so make sure you schedule some time to see what all the noise is about. 

Bishops X-Change - Encounter Dome Foyer (SSG) and the Boulevard Café (QBA)
There are two separate X-Change spaces where young people, Bishops and other Church leaders can come together to engage in 10 “conversations”. See the Program for details.

Year of Youth Leadership Centre - Encounter Dome, Level 1 (SSG)
You were not built for comfort, you were built for greatness! (Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI). Dream big with your ideas and consider how the ‘Year of Youth’ will look within your schools, youth groups and parishes.

Games and Activities (SSG)
Wander down Grand Parade to join the fun of inflatable games and visit the Encounter Dome to play “The Adventures of Saint John Paul the Great” video game and other interactive games.
