ACYF Page Hero involvement
The Festival is looking to engage a range of people to help support the Festival, giving young people the opportunity to encounter Jesus in a new way. Volunteers are the life blood of any successful event. Around 600 volunteers will be needed for this Festival, providing leadership to the young people at the festival through service and hospitality.

Application Process

The application process for volunteers will begin in the first half of 2017.

Age requirement
All volunteers must be 26 years of age (as at 1st December 2017) or older and must hold a valid Working With Children/Card Check (valid for your State or Territory). They also will need to be able to provide appropriate referees.
NB: Religious orders and seminaries can apply for an exemption to this age bracket.


All volunteers will undergo training and induction to be a volunteer. The amount of training will depend on the role that each volunteer will undertake.

During the Festival 

There are many volunteers’ roles to be filled for the Festival, from help desks to venue managers to wayfinders. We will also be looking for speciality skills.

 NB: Volunteers will need to provide their own accommodation and transport to the venue each day.
